Hi there! I’m Shir Bar-Niv, a Product Designer (UX/UI) raised in the heart of Silicon Valley, California, and now living in the vibrant city of Tel Aviv.
For the past three years, I worked as the sole designer at a logistics and supply chain startup, where I collaborated closely with developers, product managers, and customer success teams. In this dynamic environment, I learned to balance business objectives with user needs, creating thoughtful, impactful designs that drove success in a fast-paced industry.
I hold a B.S. in Cognitive Science with a Computational Emphasis from the University of California, Davis. To further my skills, I completed the UC Berkeley UX/UI Certification Program and, most recently, earned a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from Reichman University. During my master’s studies, I also interned at Monday.com, where I gained valuable experience contributing to design systems and collaborating with a larger design team in a cutting-edge tech environment.
Outside of design, I enjoy painting, illustrating, hiking, and playing billiards — creative outlets that keep me energized and ready for new challenges.
